Sky news among others comes with the story that Penelope apparantly can’t cope with the split. The magazines immediately conclude there might be a ‘possible reconciliation’ because after Penelope’s decision to fly to Tom in Berlin, instead of heading off to her own movie set in Morocco, she spent 48 hours with Tom.
Now reports quoted unnamed diners at the ritzy Bocca di Bacco restaurant in Berlin saying that Penelope began weeping softly at the table they shared on Sunday night last week. “Tom Cruise tried to comfort her, he put his arm around her and kissed her,” one diner is quoted. According to fellow diners Tom showed “great affection”. “She kept saying to him, ‘Tell me why?’”
Of course, even though this might be true, only time will tell whether they will get back together. I think Tom doesn’t decide these things lightly but when he does, he stands by his decision and leaves the past behind. But who knows, only time will tell.
