Again nothing spectaculair… According to Sky News and Novinite.com Tom and Nicole are getting along well and of course they read more in it - that’s media - we’ve heard that before! So I’m actually waiting for some really nice interviews, new pictures… where’s all the Tom-news? Searching, searching, searching…!

And guys, please try to understand where Annie is coming from. Ya’ll are trashing this site with your comments. Reviews of Collateral have NOTHING to do with Tom, Nicole or Penelope, so don’t give me the “we’re commenting on the news” excuse. We’re seeing LONG comments extremely rude and obnoxious. The purpose of comments is to say a word or two on the latest news. If you want to talk about Tom, Nicole or Penelope’s life story, go to the forums. I just deleted a whole bunch of comments, I might even have deleted some comments that were not supposed to. Please, when you comment, comment about the posted News ONLY. Do not talk about Nicole, Penelope, or where Tom is no longer with them, if he should come back, whatever. It’s not appropriate and honestly I don’t care. It’s his problem and his personal life, NONE of us has ANYTHING to do with it. Those comments will be just deleted. I don’t have time to deal with your questions about it. None of us here do. Please, do not waste our time or yours.

BBC News is doing a documentary about Tom and they want to interview some fans! How great is that? “The Last Samurai,” starring Tom Cruise and Ken Watanabe, charged its way to the top of the home video sell-through and rental charts during its debut week in release, generating about $13 million in rental revenue alone.

Warner Home Video’s actioner was the top-selling DVD in the nation for the week ending May 9, according to Nielsen VideoScan’s First Alert DVD sales chart.

Warner doesn’t release sales numbers, but according to industry estimates, “Samurai” sold more than 3.5 million units to consumers and rental stores during its first week in release.

Premiere Magazine names it’s annual top 100 powerful people. Tom Cruise is at number 14, same as last year, only behind Tom Hanks.

Access Hollywood (syndicated, check local listings) will air exclusive previews of Tom Cruise’s Collateral and the Matt Damon sequel, The Bourne Supremacy. The never before seen footage from both films will air on Thursday, May 6.

In Collateral, Cruise stars as Vincent, a contract killer who is forced to hijack a taxi cab and use its driver Max (Jamie Fox) as collateral during the last night of an assassination job for an offshore narco-trafficking cartel. The film, opening August 6, is directed by Michael Mann and also stars Jada Pinkett-Smith, Mark Ruffalo and Javier Bardem.

Reuters reports that Germany has turned down a request by Tom Cruise to shoot scenes for Mission: Impossible 3 in the famous Reichstag parliament building’s giant glass and steel dome. Cruise was in the capital last month to scout locations for the second sequel, which starts shooting later this year.

One of his favorite locations was the 130-feet diameter dome on the top of the parliament building, said a spokesman for the Studio Babelsberg production firm near Berlin, which is working with Cruise to find locations.

But the German parliament turned down the request to film there. “The building is not available as a film location and we refuse point blank every request to use it as such,” said a spokesman for Parliament President Wolfgang Thierse. “It is about maintaining the dignity of the parliament.”

As a German citizen I just like to throw in how stupid Germans are. Thank God, I always have considered myself as being an American although I don’t have any roots back there. But that’s enough from me - I’m just mad now. Germany can be lucky to say that Tom was interested in filming here but oh well.
