E! Online

  • This sunday, August 1st, E! Online will be preseting E! Entertainment Special: Tom Cruise, at 9 p.m., a one hour interview with Tom, and it has some sneaky previews at their website (I *really* suggest you seeing at least the last one – Feeling a bit cocky! – He IS the best!!). If someone could tape it, make caps, clips, something?? I dont have E! :(
  • They also have a very cool article about all those years Tom has been an actor, click here to view it.

  • And, happy birthday Roxie (a.k.a. Fanny ;) !

  • Hey, look! Now we have those cute little icons to indicate the category and make it look prettier :)

    I’m shallow, I know….

  • Extra has a quick interview with Tom and some scenes from Collateral at their site. Click here to view it. You’re gonna need quicktime. (Thanks archie for the link!)

  • I finally managed to convert the news script, and make it work!! (That’s the most important ;) )

Anyway, I’m making ‘News’ Categories, and will be editing old entries, and make it available for you guys to search through category :)

Let me know if you see any error!

I’m always getting e-mails from people asking where the premieres will be…., and those are for Collateral (thanks Kat!!) :

  • Los Angeles: Monday, August 2nd at the Orpheum Theatre in Downtown LA at 6:30PM
  • New York: Wednesday, August 4th at the Magic Johnson Theatre in Harlem at 8PM – As part of the Urbanworld Film Festival
  • Also, Tom will be taping The Late Show with David Letterman on the 4th, at the Ed Sullivan Theatre at 4PM.

Finally a huge contribution on my part – I just finished adding 353 screencaps of the extras on the “The Last Samurai” dvd to the gallery. You can check them out here. I hope to be able to cap some more stuff in the near future.

Sources say J.J. Abrams is the new guy in Tom Cruise’s life

Sources for Coming Attractions report that J.J. Abrams, the creator of ABC’s hit spy series ALIAS, is the new director of MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 3. Abrams replaces Joe Carnahan who left the project due ot creative differences earlier this week. M:I 3 is scheduled to begin filming in Berlin next month.

This would be Abrams first turn as a director on a feature film but not behind the camera. He’s directed several episodes of ALIAS, FELICITY and his upcoming new TV series LOST, so he should have the technical skill to step up to the plate and get a hit.

M:I 3 will see the return of Tom Cruise as IMF agent Ethan Hunt and Ving Rhames as pal/agent Luther Stickwell. Carrie-Anne Moss (THE MATRIX), Kenneth Branagh (HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS), Scarlett Johansson (LOST IN TRANSLATION) also star in the film.
