LONDON - Hollywood movie star Tom Cruise wowed fans in central London on Thursday with a lengthy walkabout before the British premiere of his latest film, “Collateral.”
The actor spent more than two hours with crowds gathered outside the cinema in Leicester Square, chatting, posing for photos and talking to relatives of fans over their mobile phones.
The film, which has earned $80 million in North America, is Cruise’s first outing as a screen villain.
It sees him play an assassin who commandeers a taxi, driven by actor Jamie Foxx, so that he can kill a series of targets across Los Angeles in one night.

Well Maria, i was on a entertainment show where Tom Cruise was a guest and as a suprise for the audience Tom gave away tickets to the premiere as well as loads of hugs and kisses and my friend and i was lucky enough to get both. The premier was awesome Tom came before the movie and thanked everyone for coming and then had to leave to catch his flight…but before he left via the exit beside my seats he remebered my friend and i and waved!! He made my day!!!

Even better looking!!!! I mean when you see him in real life he is soo different in a good way from the charecters he plays in his films. He is definatley the nicest guy in hollywood and respects everyone he meets! i wish he was 26 years younger so i could marry him!

I met Tom back in 97 when he was working on a film in London. he came to the restaurant where I was working and I had the pleasure of looking afetr him. He is the nicest guy and gorgeous of course. I still remember it as if it were yesterday. He got hs PA to call me the next day to say thank yuo for a great time and also for not calling the press. he then came back 3 times after that. I’m still in awe of him! He is THE man.x
