As you know, Tom was on the ‘Today’ Show yesterday. Host Matt Lauer sat down with Tom and talked about Katie, “War of the Worlds” and his comments on Brooke Shield’s use of therapy and drugs to cure her postpartum depression, and the media responding to that. Watch the interview and/or read it at the site of MSNBC.

Dear Tom,
As a mother of child who has recovered from autism using diet and nutritional supplements, I want to applaud your recent interview with Matt Lauer. I could not agree with you more with regards to “masking” the problem with drugs.
As a new osteopathic physician I hope to one day have a practice that focuses on solving the problem not covering it up Thanks for helping to get the word out .
Sincerely,
Laura Shea, D.O.

Don’t give in. The media just needs another scapegoat.

I have e-mailed the TODAY show in the past, and now, regarding the hostility present with Matt, during interviews and with Katie as well. Matt seems to be walking in Bryant Gumble’s shoes, in being rude and too aggressive in his interviews. I know I am tired of seeing it, and then he does it to Tom Cruise?? We are not blind to problems on the TODAY show. I think I will let CNN know the real deal also.
Congrats to Tom with his new love - she is absolutely adorable, and it is nice to see an honest man admit his love and show affedtion to his girl. You go!

I saw the interview this morning and I thought Mr. Cruise was great! His comments about Matt not having done his research on the drug ritalin was fantastic. Also having had post-partum depression after my second child was born almost 2 years ago I was determined to not go the drug route despite my PPD being moderate to severe at times. I addressed it with diet, talk therapy and excercise when I could (as tired as I already was). I’ve been worried about the impact of Brooke Shields having on the country and world and how much anti-depressants would start to skyrocket as a result of her comments so I am so glad to hear Tom Cruise speaking his mind on the subject. I only worry that many women will dismiss it b/c he is a “man” rather than really think about what he’s saying. Good job Tom!

Hi Mr. Tom Cruise,
Congratulations, It was a very good interview. You made a fool of Mr. Lauer and he deserved it because he is an ignorant.
I agree with you regarding the danger of taking antidepressants. Unfortunately, people do not want to hear unrequested opinions and are not willing to accept that anybody has the right to express him/her self.
And besides you are a celebrity and there are so many people that have to make a living using the wrong way your name and reputation.
Be proude of what you accomplished and enjoy your life. You looked very good so happy.
Good luck to you.
Best regards,
Monimaria
