King of Queens star and Cruise pal Leah Remini, who saw Suri at the couple’s L.A. home recently, tells PEOPLE in its new issue “She’s a beaming baby. She looks like Tom and Katie. She’s just beautiful.”
As for Suri’s folks, Cruise is “one of those doting dads,” says Remini. Holmes looks “beautiful – I’m jealous of her. She bounced right back.”
“They’re just great parents,” Remini adds. “There wasn’t a second that she was out of their arms except when I held her.”
So why won’t the proud Mom and Dad introduce Suri to fans? They’re simply in no rush, Cruise’s rep told PEOPLE in June. “Suri’s in great shape. Everything’s fine.”
ABC adds:
Remini tells Us Weekly that she saw the 3-month-old girl several weeks ago. “She’s a newborn and normal size,” Remini said in an interview that will be featured in the new issue of the magazine that hits newsstands Friday. “Tom and Kate … want to have a life and raise their baby,” Remini said. “They’re normal parents.”
Suri is “a cross between the two, [with] dark, straight hair and dark eyes,” another pal said to the magazine. (…)
Earlier this month, Arnold Robinson, Cruise’s spokesman, made a plea for privacy. “If and when they do make a decision, it will be at their discretion and not anybody else’s,” he said to The Associated Press.

Good on them…i wish the press would get over the fact that they’ve never seen the baby. I read a report somewhere a little while ago that said, that people actually thought the whole pregnancy was a conspiracy theory/pulicity stunt! i couldn’t believe it! JUST LEAVE THEM ALONE! it’s got to be so hard being THE most popular american actor trying to raise children to have a vaguely normal life. Nither Isaballa or Connor have been in the public eye much, surly the press should learn from this and realise that Tom Cruise is not like the other celebrities who can’t wait to show off their offspring.

I am glad that they are keeping their lives so private. Most normal moms don’t really leave the house at first either…don’t know if she has or not yet, but it DOES take a while to adjust to a new baby, especially a first time mom.
Congrats tothe couple for keeping life normal and not parading their baby in front of the press.

I think People should just leave Tom Kate and the baby alone. For years people have loved Tom Cruises’s movies and now that he is engaged to Katie Holmes and has a child with her all people want to do is knock them. Let them live their lives we will see Suri.

i agree. people can be so mean about the whole “we haven’t seen suri and it’s already been four months” thing. yeah, most celebs would be excited about having a baby and like normal people they want to show them off but tom is following his religion and people need to respect that and be patient.
i can’t wait to see the creation tom and kate made but we’re just gonna have to wait a little bit longer.

What a nice site. I’ve read many of the posts and enjoyed them. I just wanted to input a little about the baby. Religious beliefs are not a factor in keeping the baby from the press - as a Scientologist I know this. It’s his own protectiveness and common sense. Our press is lacking in the ‘good intentions’ department you know. Also, I’m a tutor and am hearing more and more from parents who have heard Tom’s protest of meds and more and more they are rejecting the idea of meds and looking for healthy atlernatives and tutoring. He’s making a difference even in my own busienss because it’s difficult to make progress with a child on meds. They’re calm, but not mentally available. I’d rather walk around with them if I have to or sit under the table where they’re hiding out. After a little communication and progress we make good progress without the meds. I don’t know if Tom ever reads this site, I’m betting he does, but if so, I want to say, “thank you Tom, for having the courage, passion, and integrity to speak out and help your fellow man at the risk of public opinion and ill-intentioned press. We love you.

I loved Tom Cruise and his movies alwayas he has always been my favorite actor and always will be. Tom Cruise is a top guy and very down to earth he is such a natural actor and so handsone. Katie is also very gorgeous and is a fine actress. Suri is one of the most beautiful baby she looks so healthy. Together Tom and Katie make a gorgeous couple and now after welcoming Suri they make a beautiful family. God Bless! Lot’s of Love and Kisses to all of them.
