Movie star Penelope Cruz has defended her former love Tom Cruise from the media backlash against his devotion to Scientology.
The Spanish actress adores Cruise as a friend, and can’t understand why people refuse to accept his beliefs.
“I can only say good things about Tom,” she said. “I know him pretty well, so I know what I’m talking about.
“Tom and I are good friends and in many ways he’s shown me to have a kind heart.
“Scientology is positive. When you read a book of Buddhism, you could apply it to your life in any way you need to, so with a book of Scientology it’s the same thing.
“I think we should respect all religions.” (NYPost)

Thank you for all your information Tom Cruise. He is a great person, father and role model. He has been treated unfairly by Viacom, Paramount and the press. He will rise above this. All Tom Cruise fans need to band together for a full blown boycott of Viacom and Paramount. Cheer for the Washington Redskins this year because the owner of that team is one of the financial backers of Cruise/Wagner Productions.

I admire and agree with Penelope Cruz’s comment about Tom Cruise. Matt Lauer of all people has defended Tom in this Viacom/Paramount mess. Viacom who owns MTV has the abosolute bad judgement call when the produce Bemis & Butthead and then let their biggest money maker (Tom Cruise) go.

we will all be judged according to how we live our lives and believe. if Tom is a good man and believes in scientology, he’ll be judged by that. if i’m a christian and live a pathetic life, it’s automatic where i’m going,HELL! please people let us focus on more positive stuff

I couldn’t agree more with what Peneope said about Tom and his believes and everyone elses believes. He is a great guy and lives a pieceful life, never hurting anyone. People should just leave him alone. He is a good person and a wonderful father. Most of all, he is the greatest actor of all times.

Dear Tom & Katie,
All I can say that she is beutiful!!!! I think she looks like Katie. She has Katies nose and her eyes. I grew up watching ” Dawson’s Creek” . Katie seems to have a good heart. Which is very hard to find in people today. And it is obvious to me that that baby has her heart… She is sooo beautiful that I wish I could see her in person she reminds me of my nieces and nephews. IT is very rare for a baby to be beautifull all over.
p.S. I love her black hair…
Have a wonderful lifre with her. Do not let this world corrupt her even though that is hard to do but I know you will do your best.
