Tom Cruise plans ‘romantic’ Valentine’s Day & pictures

Tom Cruise is planning a “romantic” Valentine’s Day for wife Katie Holmes.

The actor is known for his passionate gestures – including proposing to former Dawson’s Creek star Katie on the top of Paris’ Eiffel Tower – and says this Valentine’s Day will be no different.

He said: “I have plans, and it will definitely be romantic. I’m going to keep the details to myself but it’s going to be fun though!”

Katie, who accompanied Tom to the opening of Los Angeles’ Eli Broad Contemporary Art Museum on Saturday, also spoke about the couple’s 21-month-old daughter Suri.

She said: “Every day she does something new. She’s growing up so quickly!”

Tom recently revealed he will never be disillusioned by love, and hopes to always be a romantic at heart.

He said: “I will never be down with love. Ever. I’m the guy who loves relationships. I love women. I’m very much a romantic and an optimist.”

  He has to be every woman’s dream man!! The way he looks and the way he thinks. He has a big heart for everyone. He has deep feelings for his family. This is a very good man. A great example for all of us to understand what really matters in life. Remeber he is a Scientologist. I am not, but I have nothing against it and it sounds like a lot of who Tom is comes from his beliefs. One has got to respect that. Look at him!!!! He is a fantastic human being in every aspect of his life. Way to go Tom

  Colleen, I totally agree with what you say. If his religious philosophy helps him being the man he is, good for him. And as a Scientologist he seems to apply all the values I was taught from childhood by my own church and that so few of us succeed in living up to. I remember that in an interview a few years ago, Tom said:”I live my life as well as I can”. And to be able to do that in Hollywood is surely quite an achievement!
