I wanted to give you all an update about the forum. I will be going through it and checking for any spam,as well as posting latest updates about the site there. I am trying my best to get this site back up to date and I appreciate your patience!

In my efforts to help get this site up to date, I will be making large updates to the gallery. There’s alot of event pictures that haven’t been added, so I want to get those uploaded, as well as recent candids. While I am doing that,I’ll still continue posting the latest Tom news!

Annie, Mina and I are happy to announce that we have a new moderator here at TomCruiseFan! Her name is Hayley and she’s the owner of the one-and-only Katie fansite Katie-Holmes.org.

Hey everybody,

I don’t want you to be left hanging out to dry, and I can imagine some of you are feeling a bit frustrated about the lack of updates lately. A few words from me about that.

First of all, I can only speak for myself but I can assure you I care about the site. The ones who have come here for many years know that I’ve done a lot for this site through the years, so you know I care. But things change, and my life has changed as well. I’m not the teenager with tons of time on my hands any more. I have a family and kids to take care of, they’re my no. 1 priority and be honest - you’d make them your no. 1 priority as well, right?! ;-D So that’s my reason for not being able to update that much any more.

Second, it’s clear that we could use moderators. So if you know any one, let us know! We need serious people who are die hard fans and know a bit about websites, uploading stuff, etc.

Last but not least, Please know that I’ve talked to Annie about all of this and she’ll get back to you soon - today if possible - hopefully to tell you some good news about TCF. Please hang on a little longer, people!

Tom will be Oprah tomorrow (friday) and on monday, but all 3 of us live outside US and I, Annie, in Brazil. The Oprah show takes a week or so to be shown here, so if anyone in US could make a video for us, would be highly appreciated.

I’ve upgraded the forums to a new version, hopefully this will keep the spam bots away and people will be able to register without me having to approve each (which is kinda difficult lately)

Small Note off-topic:

Some people have been accusing me of stealing pictures from another fansite. All I can say is that I dont even visit that site. I have my own sources to get the pictures for this site, and I don’t take from other fansites without asking. So, please, if someone wants to accuse me of anything, please do it in my e-mail, I can proove to anyone that any picture that isn’t credited, is original from here.
It’s easy to come and accuse, but I have yet to see anyone to be right.

I’ve always had people trying to put me down and minimize the work I do on this site. I’ve built this site all by myself, and a few years ago I had the blessing of meeting Chantal who brings us all the latest things on Tom. And now Des has joined the team, and is doing a wonderful job too. And, of course, all the wonderful donators.

TomCruiseFan.com is the biggest site on Tom, has been since I’ve opened it and will always be.
I don’t do the site for me, I do it for my visitors, you, (yes, you), and everything we bring here is for the fans of Tom who love his career and his work as much a I, Annie, Chantal and Des do.

Washington, May 17 : Film companies ‘Twentieth Century Fox’ and ‘New Regency’ are gearing up to remake the 1981 military drama ‘Taps’.

The screenplay for the drama, famous for launching Tom Cruise, Sean Penn and Timothy Hutton’s careers, will be written by Frank E. Flowers.

Johan Davis will produce the movie, while Robbie Brenner will be associated with it as executive producer.

“The political climate and the psyche of the country make it an exciting time to tell that story,” Variety magazine quoted Flowers as telling.

“When you are at war, kids are forced to make decisions normally reserved for adults, like fighting for your country and standing up for what you believe in,” he added.

The original drama was directed by Harold Becker. It revolves around a group of loyal cadets who seize control of their military academy, as construction crews arrive to tear it down and make room for condos.

Hi everybody!

Just a small message to let you know that we have come to an agreement with Alyssia and Jay from Katie-Holmes.org to share and exchange information and pictures.

As you can imagine we spent a part of our time collecting news, pictures and scans etc. of Tom Cruise, like they do about Katie Holmes. So we both spend time searching the internet for the same items and scanning the same magazines.

Since Tom and Katie are a couple and are now happily married, it feels great and logical that “their” number one fan sites - tomcruisefan.com and katie-holmes.org - have made a pact, as well! For all the Tom & Katie fans this will mean we both can be complete and help each other out. It saves time and effort and maybe the other site has found something earlier or has easier access to particular magazines or something. So this is good news which we wanted to share with you, to let you know we’re happy with this “joining forces”!

Just wanted to post about the new layout. Very simple and not so good, but I was really sick of the previous one (and I’m sure a lot of you were too)

The only problem is, is that when I deleting inactive accounts, I ended up deleting over 200 of actual members. I’m so sorry for this. I shouldn’t be doing stuff while I’m sleepy
