  In the wake of all the deaths that have been in the news, I allowed one of the most important celeb figures in my life who just celebrated a birthday to slip by. This is my card-poem to him tiltle “Tom Cruise’s Press Release”

  I came into this RISKY BUSINESS a LEGEND. I was then one of THE OUTSIDERS. I dont dance a TROPIC THUNDER or perform TAPS to the directions of others. I have always been original. I knew from the start what it took many others time to find out, that I have always had not only the looks, and the brains but ALL THE RIGHT MOVES. I know who I am. I dont see the world or people in color. Although I know what THE COLOR OF MONEY IS, that has not changed me. with all those in my field I am still TOP GUN. I stand with my intergrity intact. I stand with THE FIRM, I stand with the ones who were with me through my DAYS OF THUNDER. people say into every life a little RAIN MAN must fall.I say before my appearance on Oprah,my life was not sweet like MAGNOLIA. my life was never lived under VANILLA SKY’s..I have always dealt with real issues. I dont keep my EYES WIDE SHUT.I’m no JERRY MAGUIRE. I wont go to sleep and grow a conscience, I have always had one. unlike many of my peers whose are a like a very dry COCKTAIL, lost FAR AND AWAY, I say to all check my international, social and life report, not just the MINORITY REPORT. the next time I give an INTERVIEW WITH A VAMPIRE, believe me I will have a sword from THE LAST SAMAURI at my side to remove the double tongue that says it loves me and behind my back rips me to shreds. I am not the comic I played in AUSTIN POWERS 3, everyone must know I have all the COLLATERAL that I need to fight in THE WAR OF THE WORLDS with my war of the words. that to me is not a MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 1,2, or 3. I will always be a LION FOR LAMBS, I will be who I am and that is the fierce man Tom Cruise,worthy and driven. I wont submit to the character assassinators like those of VALKYRIE, no I am and will always be the last of the FEW GOOD MEN……Happy B-Day Tom Cruise
