Totally agree with Mark. This is the most appaling nonsense to come out of Hollywood yet. There were a total of 7 American pilots (as opposed to some 2,500 British pilots). They did not constitute a “squadron of flyboys”. The RAF was not “decimated” and was not “rescued by the Americans”. Please Mr Cruise don’t even think about showing this diabolical tripe in British cinemas because we’d burn the places down!

This is another appalling attempt to hyjack British history just to further americans belief that we owe them everything. Quite alot like the enigma codes in the recent U-boat film. The most appalling thing I have heard this year which is removing my countries victory through enormous odds, when they stood alone with americans becoming our saviours. Dispicable.
