I was expecting a load of comments regarding the Collateral trailer
Premiere Magazine names it’s annual top 100 powerful people. Tom Cruise is at number 14, same as last year, only behind Tom Hanks.

It looks like another stupid action flick. I´m not quite interested in that kind of movies. Hate the hair! Hated MI 2.
It´s so sad that his next upcoming movies are two stupid action flicks (Collateral+MI:3) and no good TC movie in sight for the next 1 1/2 years (like JM, RM, EWS or even VS).

So you’re gonna judge the entire film bassed on a teaser? Sad. Don’t look like an action flick to me.

I am just happy to see Tom in a new movie and all the best for MI:3.

The problem is putting comedian Jamie Foxx in an action flick with Tom is as misformulated as the sterling gray hair that spalding gray would have pontificated about then jumped off the staten Island Ferry cuz Minority report was climactic and all else sadly is anti-orgasmic – that movie should be called Tom’s refusal to go black.

I don`t think this movie is a step back for Tom,
but opposite. He`s playing a “bad boy” so it is a challenge and his gray is just propriate for his movie character.
An another side I like to see Tom playing a
diffrent type- not action.

I look forward to all Tom’s films some I like better than others, but I think it’s great that his range is so wide that he can portray so many different characters. My favourite Cruise movie is Eyes Wide Shut which got panned at the box office but I loved it, however I also love the Mission Impossibles. ‘spose really I just luv Tom!!!

Only thing that looks cool about this movie is the fact hes the bad guy, I don’t think I’ve ever seen him play one…(haven’t really watched many of his movies though)

Good job, Tom! next year you’ll be in the top 5!

i think the movie will produce more surprises than most pple think, the trailer is self-conscious in a deprecatory kind of way. I’m expecting something a little tongue-in-cheek and not just all-out menace. While Tom does play a bad guy, given Mann’s rep there should be a twist somewhere, or at the very least a knowing wink.

When Larry King asked Tom why he is playing a bad guy whom he (Larry) doesn’t like, Tom said that he shall wait and see … so I am eager to know what kind of *surprise* he has to offer this time
