Stars Talk Upcoming at Vanity Fair Party

Found this little tidbit at DarkHorizons.com – so apparently Tom did attend an Oscar After Party.

TOM CRUISE
Cruise is set to do the third “Mission Impossible” movie and says that there’s a number of actors he’s talked to about it. He doesn’t rule out working with Kidman again either, even suggesting a role for her in MI3 which he has mentioned to her. Says she’s still quite special and hopes to do a film again with her. Is interested in doing “Iron Man” but says it’s still in talk stages.

  Good. Tom is still interested in doing a movie with Kidman. I hope this will not cause jealous on Penelope, seeing her boyfriend working again with his ex- wife.

  Tom did not attend the Vanity Fair Party, so if stars who attended that party spoke about their upcoming projects, then I presume Tom’s SHADOW was around in that party to speak for it self(shadow).

  Ex mrs Cruise (Nicole) had vowed never to make any film again with Tom, so let us wait and see if that will ever happen. They(Tom&Nicole) just missed a chance of doing that Romantic (not Epic to my point of view)Cold Mountain film.

  Martha, Calm Down! Penelope will not be jealoused. She has gone through enough hazard from the press and her attackers,
  that I believe she has built up a strong foundation or roots of resistance.
  If in case that ever happens(Tom &Nicole filming together) we can wait to see a BETTER Box office record than the ones they previously did since Nicole is now KNOWN or PROMOTED as the “most talented and Money Making actress”

  I think he talked to her about doing a bit part, but I don’t think it would be a romantic part, you know. That would be too weird. But seriously, I don’t think Kidman would do it. She has too many projects on her plate right now. But this just shows that they aren’t enemies, as the press and some Kidman fans would love to believe. As for Penelope, she is one of the most down to earth people I’ve ever seen in her interviews. She knows that Cruise loves her. He calls her his Sweet and Precious Penelope!

  I just thought of something! Wouldn’t it be FUNNY if Kidman played someone trying to kill Ethan? LOL! I would find it amusing watching these guys shoot it out, and it would really show what a good sport both are about their whole situation.

  ” Most talented and money making” are you kidding me. Nicole was never the “most talented and money making”. just look at her box office numbers: The recent one, Cold Mountain, which costed the studio $82 million dollars made so far $90 million; She only had one mivie that broke the $100 million mark and was “batman forever” and that’s just because it’s batman. Who promoted her as the “most talented and money making” must be out of their minds. Tom has always had better resoults for his movies than she has… that’s not a doubt about that.

  I agreed wif both my hands legs that Nicole is nv going to be TALENTED AND MONEY MAKING. Even wif her latest movie>> Cold MOuntain. Renne’s acting skill is far better n natural then hers. I hope that maybe Tom Cruise can wrk back wif tat lady in MI2. I think she is great. =)

  I don’t like this idea and I don’t believe that Tom asked NK to appear in MI3.. Why would he do that ? He says he loves NK, out of kindness and people think he means it.. He doesnt.. He wants her to shut up and stop whining about him.. Anyway, one movie of Tom makes more money than 10 movies Kidman makes.. She is box-office poison..

  December 2003, Entertainment weekly margazine “upgraded” or “crowned” Nicole as the “Most Powerfull actress”. The greatest “delight” about this “PROCLAMATIOM” is that Nicole had just one new film at that time: The Human Stain that ended with a “BRILLIANT and OUTSTANDING” box office record of $ 5 million (congrates!!).
  Early January(2004) the annual classification for the Most Bankable Stars complied by Quigley Publishing Co Placed Nicole second positon after Jim Carrey while Tom came fourth.

  Entertainement Weekly has been biased ever since Tom Divorced Nicole. Anyways who wants follow what they have to say , when the box office record of tom speaks for itself. Come on 12 movies of Tom have grossed over 100 million. All of you’ll will agree when I say Tom is the most popular actor worldwide(may not be so in the US).

  Is this site a Tom-Penelope fan sit and Tomfan-Kidmanhater site? It seems that there is no room here for people who are fans for both Cruise & Kidman. I do not see the points of comparing the two. The movies they each made were very different. Besides, one is an actor and one is an actress. Comparing them is like comparing bread with milk. Tom is undoubtly the box office king. I just don’t see the point of creating an imangined competition b/w them. And Serinmood, are you suggesting Tom is lying when he said he still loves Kidman. I don’t think your comment reflects good on Tom’s character. He said he loves her. It could be as a good friend. I don’t think they will or should get back together. But they have two kids to raise, why do you want to create an enmity b/w them? If this is a site for Tom-Penelope fan only , please state it clearly on the site, so I will not visit again. For personally I don’t like Penelope. I do not believe she really loves Tom. But that’s just my own opinion.

  Katie: don’t draw the conclusion this is a loveTom/hateNicole site. As you are giving your opinion about Pen, lots of people want to say what they think about Tom and Nicole, not even about them personally as you are with Penélope, but most comments are about this possibility of them working together again. Personally I don’t believe any of it. I think they will never work together. I think she would never get ‘back’ to working with the Famous Tom Cruise in whose shadow she’s been for so long. Even now he makes more money and has more star status so by working with him she again would be in his shadow and people would focus on them personally instead of their film roles. She still is in his shadow, in a way, and the only think to escape that is working by herself and no more referrals to her life with Tom.
  Also I think Tom has dealt with the divorce and has given it a place, but I think Nicole is still not over it. No matter what the reasons were for the divorce, I think she never believed it would come to this. So in both cases – emotionally and professionally – I think she definitely wouldn’t work with Tom, at least not at this time. Maybe in the far future, but even that I doubt.

  and nicole is a superb actress also a very nice person,why compare give them both there due.
