  I went to see Lions for lambs on the opening day here in LA, it was also my birthday, and what a Birthday gift! I was expecting a good movie but it surpassed everything I was counting on. The unusual unfolding of the story, the brilliant direction, the acting, above all by Tom who truly gives a performance that puts him way above any other actor today……and it is absolutely not preachy, like some so-called movie critics claimed. It is a very balanced, intelligent and perceptive look at what is happening, and you leave the theater thinking and, yes, daring to hope. Do not miss it, Tom will surprise even you, his devoted fans.
