The Toledo Blade posted a very nice article on Katie, you can no doubt find it on our partnersite Katie-Holmes.org (go check it out!). On her relationship with Tom she said:

“We are very much like most couples and we definitely bounce ideas off of each other,” she said. “He’s incredibly supportive and I’m really appreciative of him being here and being so supportive of this play. I also love going with him on his films and supporting him through that. We definitely talk about everything together. That’s what partners do.”

She is so right! Go girl!

Tom Cruise, Spencer Pratt

Spencer Pratt of “The Hills” is receiving some advice from none other than Tom Cruise!

On MTV’s “The Hills After Show” the hosts show a picture of Spencer to Tom and explain to the ‘Valkyrie’ star that Spencer did not give Heidi Montag the big wedding she wanted but instead eloped with her in Mexico.

“If the girl wants the wedding, you gotta give the wedding,” Tom advises. “The girl wants the wedding. She’s gonna remember it, you gotta make it a special occasion.”

He then tells Spencer’s picture,” Spencer, dude, you’ll realize this later.”

Tom Cruise was set to roll into the city yesterday for a two-day media blitz designed to promote his upcoming project Valkyrie, a movie that has been beset with problems, but is being viewed by many as a chance for the once top-drawer star to revive his flagging career.

Among Cruise’s scheduled stops are MuchMusic, MTV and CBC’s The Hour With George Stroumboulopoulos.

In Valkyrie, which opens Christmas Day, the actor plays Col. Claus von Stauffenberg, a German officer who led a plot during the Second World War to assassinate Adolf Hitler and seize power.

It’s based on true-life events.

Cruise, of course, has had a long movie career, starring in the Mission Impossible franchise, as well as critically acclaimed films such as Jerry Maguire and Magnolia.

But in recent years, his personal life has largely overshadowed his onscreen work.

Valkyrie is being seen by many industry observers as a litmus test of Cruise’s future viability as a bankable star.

It marks the actor’s second film under MGM’s United Artists banner, which he and Paula Wagner took over in late 2006 (she announced over the summer that she was leaving to produce projects independently)

I’ve got an e-mail from MuchMusic’s “MuchOnDemand” asking for a fan who would like to ask a Tom a question tomorrow via webcam during the show. I’d do it myself but I don’t have a webcam.

So, if you want to, e-mail me at cruisefan@gmail.com with “MuchOnDemand” on the subject with your Name, Age and Location.

If there are too many people, I’ll randomly choose. Go go :D

The show airs Tomorrow, Monday December 5th from 5pm to 6pm (Toronto time)

Tom: Kate and I will have more children

LOS ANGELES, California—“We’ll have more children. I’m (the one) saying this. Kate is not here,” said Tom Cruise in a recent press con at the Four Seasons Hotel.

But don’t stop the presses yet — Suri, Tom’s youngest child, may have to wait awhile for her sibling. “Kate is working and we’re enjoying this time,” Tom said of his wife who’s appearing in the Broadway play, “All My Sons.”

He added: “It’s very precious. We don’t get this time back. That’s why when Suri was born, we really shut down everything for months.”

Tom, speaking to reporters to drum up publicity for his new film, “Valkyrie,” was quite game to talk about other issues as well. A lot is riding on the film, the second release of United Artists (UA) since he and Paula Wagner took over the film studio founded by Charlie Chaplin, Mary Pickford and other early Hollywood titans. “Lions for Lambs,” their first release, did not perform well at the box office. And Paula, Tom’s long-time producing partner, has left UA.

Tom to take Katie on romantic birthday

Tom Cruise is planning to take Katie Holmes on a romantic break for her 30th birthday.

Cruise wants Holmes to relax after she finishes her run in Broadway show All My Sons and thinks some private time together with their two-year-old daughter Suri will help.

A source close to Cruise and Holmes, who turns 30 on December 18, said: “Tom realises that Katie has been working very hard on the show, so when it’s over he’s planning on taking her on a romantic break with Suri too.

“They just want to spend some quality time together as a family and he feels a holiday would be the best way of doing that away from prying eyes. She will be in for a real treat.”

Holmes recently revealed she doesn’t see the age difference between her and 46-year-old Cruise as a problem, because she enjoys the ageing process.

She said: “I find that as I get older I am excited to get older. There are more things for me to learn. I realise that I don’t know as much as I thought I did.

“I like looking back and seeing pictures of the past because that is who I created for me. That is what I was doing. I appreciate it more and more. Every day I try to find out more things about myself. I love changing.”
