Colleen Hippler says:
Thank you so much for the pictures of Tom & Katie at the Vikings/Redskins game. I am from Minnesota and am now 100% Redskin Fan. I only wish that the game had been played here and Tom & Katie would have been in Minnesota. They look so cute together and I cannot wait until they get married. I have the Vanity Fair magazine and I treasure it. What is so wonderful about it is unlike some other couples who had millions paid to get pictures of their baby, Tom & Katie wanted no money whatsoever for those photos in Vanity Fair. The photographer stayed right their at their home and ate with the familty and was treated with respect. Tom and Katie are very unique and special people. His adoptive kids love Suri and Katie. All in all I am very happy for them and wish them all the happiness in the world. Regardless of the unfair press that Tom has gotten, he is still a wonderful father and that is worth more than any Oscar or award to him. That much I know. Long comment I know, but when it comes to Tom Cruise not enough good can be said about him.
Lili says:
Thanks, Annie for all the pics, I hope you are all right now and your good health has returned.
Kyio, I too have been unable to get into the forums lately, BUT I found a way : just click on Interact at the top of the News and updates page, and then click on Forums on the left. Why would the Japanese people be less appreciative of Tom now? They know how good a person he is, and how much he loves and respect Japan history, and how much The last samurai did to show that. Please, Kyio, if you have any influence in the japanese media, help Tom regain their love.
Helen says:
I think Colleen Hippler must be mistaken when she said the Japanese people appreciative Tom less now becuase they just named a day after him Oct 06.
Japan Declares ‘Tom Cruise Day’
According to the Japan Memorial Day Association, he was awarded with his own day because of his love for and close association with Japan.
Cruise’s film, The Last Samurai, grossed $117 million more in Japan than it did in the US.
The actor has paid more visits to the country than any other major Hollywood star and spends hours on end with fans in the country.
His public relations tour of Japan last spring to promote Mission: Impossible III included a trip on the bullet train from Osaka to Tokyo, during which he had his photo taken with more than 100 fans.
During that trip, Cruise told the press he wanted to shoot the next installment in the action series in Japan. The Association noted that Cruise is the first Hollywood star to receive this honor.
Helen says:
My Mistake its not Colleen Hippler that made the comment about the Japanese. Sorry!
