Suri Cruise: Happy Fourth of July!

Tom Cruise carries daughter Suri, 2, while enjoying the 4th of July on Friday near the actor’s home in Telluride, Colorado.

Katie Holmes walked beside the father-daughter pair, with her hand on the small of Tom’s back. Their son Conner Cruise, 13, was also in attendance.

Katie said “Happy 4th of July” to photographers before Tom drove the family away in their SUV.

Mr. Cruise wore a cowboy hat while Suri looked super cute in an American flag headband.

  Um…..Connor Cruise is not “their son”. He’s the son of Tom and Nicole. Katie is not his Mother.

  Note from Chantal: Hi Charlotte, You are right about the fact that Tom and Nicole adopted Connor and Isabella. I think the reason that this reporter named Connor “their son” is because both Connor and Isabella live with Tom and Katie. They also call Katie ‘mom’, which to me is a sign they all love each other and feel comfortable around each other. And that to Connor and Isabella, there’s no difference in the love they receive from their dad Tom as the love they get from Katie. And to me that is just a great thing! Something to be proud of; they prove to be a caring and loving family together with no exeptions. I think this reporter just agrees with that by saying that, I don’t believe there’s any judgement or harm involved. He just talks about Tom & Katie as the ones who primarily take care of this teenager, and there’s no intention whatsoever to state otherwise or any hidden meaning in saying that, is my guess.
