Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes: Valkyrie in the UK

Last night they were busy at the Berlin premiere of “Valkyrie.” And this evening Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are on the other side of the English Channel giving the Brits their chance to see it for the first time.

The “Risky Business” stud and his “Dawson’s Creek” darling looked blissful, as always, as they posed for the paparazzi outside London’s Odeon Leicester Square.

Cruise wore a tie-less black suit while Holmes kept it conservative-yet-sexy in a multi-textured sleeveless black dress with black stockings and black heels.

And as previously reported by the Gossip Girls, Katie will be returning to New York City next month to film a new movie called “The Extra Man.”

Tom Cruise and more arrive on the red carpet of the Los Angeles premiere of “Valkyrie” at the Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles, Calif.

Tom Cruise and friends hit the red carpet at the New York City premiere of “Valkyrie,” a World War II thriller film based on a true plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler.

Dutch Entertainment show “RTL Boulevard” has a small item on ‘their’ Carice van Houten (who is a Dutch actress). Here’s the translation on what Carice has said about working with Tom:

The 32-year old Van Houten, who played Tom Cruise’s wife in the war movie, talks very enthusiastic about the Hollywood star. “We hade a few dancing lessons together and I laughed so hard that I almost wet my pants.”

She admits she was quite impressed by her famous collegue, the first day of shooting the movie. “I have a big mouth right now, but when we first met I blushed for two whole minutes. Not really charming.” But Cruise made her feel comfortable very quickly. “He was really the most sweet, most supporting collegue I can imagine.”

Van Houten travels this month and next month to Los Angeles, Londen en Berlijn to attend the premiere of ‘Valkyrie’. She will finish the promotion tour in Amsterdam, where she will appear on the red carpet on Januari 22.

‘Valkyrie’ is a war drama based on true events about a German officer, played by Cruise, who makes a failed attempt to kill Hitler. Van Houten plays the wife of this officer in the movie, which was taped in Berlin.
